Offseason acquisition Brian Pendergast, Austin Cudworth, and Kevin Tsuchida all homered to cut the deficit to 16-14. Get a Wiff countered with three homers of their own, one by Otto Par and two by former Wiff Waffer Andrew Ybarra. Par survived the bloodbath to record his first victory on the mound.
